With care and love, your cashmere styles will last a long time. Follow the simple steps for the care of cashmere, so that the styles not only last long but also feel like new.
WASH & DRY
Before washing, close the buttons and turn the garment inside out. Use liquid mild detergent (e.g. from FTC®). Wash your clothes in the cold wool wash cycle at max. 30 degrees Celsius and make sure that spin is max. 400 rpm.
Air drying: Place the clothes on the clothes horse.
KEEP IN MIND
Knitwear should be stored lying down, not hanging. Do not wash your cashmere styles too often, air them out first. Take care of your knitwear with steam from time to time.
To protect against moths: put moth paper (natural without toxins), lavender sachets or lavender soap between the clothes.
Did you know that pilling is a natural characteristic of knitwear? The nodules are caused by the friction of the fine fibers and they are not a quality defect.
If pilling nodules form, remove them carefully using the FTC® Pilling Comb.
FURTHER CARE TIPS
Steam revitalizes cashmere and restores the material's natural moisture. The heat of the steam kills bacteria and prevents moth infestations.
