01.

PILLING

Carefully remove pilling nodules with the FTC® Pilling Comb. Place knitwear on a flat surface and comb carefully in the direction of the knitting. Pilling is a natural characteristic of knitwear and doesn‘t always indicate a quality defect. It‘s mainly caused by the friction of the fine fibers and depends on factors such as the color, spinning and knitting tightness, washing and wearing of the knitwear.

02.

WASHING

Wash knits only when necessary. Airing helps to remove odors. Wash our Cashmere in the washing machine as indicated to maintain the quality. Before washing, close any buttons and turn your knit inside out. Use a liquid wool detergent and wash your knit with the cold wool wash cycle in the washing machine. Set the spin to a maximum of 400 rpm.

03.

DRYING

Always air dry your knits. Lay knitwear flat on drying rack to air dry at room temperature. Ensure to avoid direct sunlight.

04.

STEAMING

Steam your Cashmere styles every now and then. Steaming revitalizes Cashmere and restores the natural moisture of the material. The heat of the steam kills bacteria and prevents moth infestation.

STORING

Knits should be stored lying flat, not hanging. Store them with natural moth repellents like moth paper (non-toxic), lavender bags or cedarwood. For longer storage, place your knitwear in a cloth bag for protection.
